Li Xi, the modern red envelope
According to the Chinese Zodiac, the Rat is the sign for leadership, charisma and order. Traditionally, money is placed inside the red envelope and gifted at weddings or during Chinese New Year. The laser-cut design was inspired by the ancient craft of papercuts, an original art form created in China.
